I boycotted the end of year gifts this year and completely blew off the Teacher Appreciation Week stuff. We didn’t have the extra money for 3 school teachers, plus dance teachers, etc. We just simply didn’t have it. I felt bad for about 5 minutes. I figured it would be better to pay the bills on time than to what amounts to teacher bribery. I mean some people give, $50 gift cards! The heck? We had to send in money for end of year parties, not to mention the deposits for NEXT school year activities that are already due.

Am I 100% satisfied with Obama? No. Am I 50%? No again. But would I be more satisfied if the Republicans take over again. Oh, no, that's definitely down below zero. So I gave some money to Obama and I'm firmly in the D column. Anyone who calls themselves a Democrat or a liberal or a progressive or all three and doesn't vote D at this point is a fool. They say it gets better -- not if the Republicans get back in.

I’m willing to let the first two go, even if he did name the bad guy in chief from Safehold Clinton as well, but the SEIU acronym was just a little awkward.He doesn’t then proceed to whack us over the head with editorializing, though, so whatever. (This spoken as someone who enjoyed the novel version of Battlefield Earth before he knew who L. Ron Hubbard was, however, so take it with a grain of salt.)
I do like the manner in which you have presented this specific situation plus it does supply me personally a lot of fodder for consideration. Nonetheless, because of just what I have witnessed, I just trust when the actual feedback stack on that folks keep on issue and not get started on a soap box of the news du jour. Yet, thank you for this superb piece and though I do not go along with it in totality, I respect the standpoint.
