I am happy to say that I was able to see music played at CBGB's and got the chance to hang out with the bands backstage. That much Rock & Roll history packed into such a small place will never again be replicated. The real shame of CBGB's is that it has not been relevant for years now. More would have been done to save this historical venue had it remained as important to today's Rock scene as it was back when The Ramones, The Talking Heads, and Blondie rocked the house.
Aside from designing the art in 3D on a cpmtuoer and having the carving process automated, has there been much if any innovation in the carving portion of woodworking (like was in your field trip video)? It seems to be, to do that delicate work with the human form on your pieces you’d have to use hand tools exclusively.
Where can I find plans for building a silmpe bookcase?First, I am not a woodworker. Would a small, basic bookcase be a good starting project? Because I’m visiting my parents for a few months, I can have access to a garage full of basic woodworking tools. I’m not envisioning anything in particular, just something with inexpensive wood and no wider than three feet. Any ideas?Thanks in advance.
Wow, you're defending Denis Leary? Really? I never found him to be funny at all. As a matter of fact, a lot of comedians don't like him because he has been known to steal jokes. Bottom line though, if he had a kid with autism, I seriously doubt he would have written that. Shit like that is funny till it happens to you.
